MD Engineeing, established in 2008 by the Managing Director Matthew Daws on his family farm in the historical village of Bodiam, East Sussex, is a local, reliable and honest mechanical engineering business which has been built on a solid foundation of love and passion for agricultural machinery and the working mechanics of engines.
Over the years MDE has taken every opportunity to provide the best service possible for their valued customers by keeping up to date with training and the latest technology available. With over 45 years of combined experience within the friendly team at MDE, you can be assured that you are in safe hands. MDE specialise in a wide range of services, from simply checking your tyre pressures, to running the latest diagnostic programming for all types of motor vehicle.
SERVICING
Your car servicing at MD Engineering is carried out by fully trained technicians working to a thorough service schedule and using the latest diagnostic equipment. Our aim is to give you a honest, efficient and cost effective service that is local to you.
We undertake work all on makes and models of vehicle, regardless of age! So whether it be a vintage gem or a factory fresh SUV, MDE can help!

GENERAL REPAIRS
MD Engineering can assist you with all your car maintenance needs. From a simple service or exhaust repair, to cambelts and clutches, engine or gearbox replacement, we are here to help! Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements. Estimates are available upon request.
DIAGNOSTICS
MD Engineering provides customers with the latest advancements and technologies to find the smartest and most optimal solutions for your engine management requirements. Equipped with Autologic diagnostics (dealer spec computer equipment) we can cater for most of your needs. From key programming to factory resets we can help.

TRANSMISSION FLUSH
Has your automatic gearbox become slow at changing gear?
Does it Judder, hunt between gears or over-rev?
Then your gearbox could benifit from a transmission flush. We are seeing an increase in transmission issues especially with Land Rover and Range Rover models. It is important to keep your transmission healthy by adhering to the manufactures service interval. We can offer a gearbox transmisson flush including a gear box oil filter change from £200 + vat

AIR CONDITIONING
Don't miss out on the benefits of air conditioning in your vehicle - Did you know that air conditioning doesn’t just provide a comforting chill during the summer; it can also be used to speed up the demisting of your windscreen on those blistery, cold, winter mornings.
Just like other parts of your car, the air-conditioning system also needs regular servicing to ensure it continues to work efficiently and effectively.
We offer a complete air-conditioning recharge service, including an anti-bac treatment to rid your vehicle of all the nasty bacteria's that can build up over time.
Our service is priced depending on your vehicles refrigerant capacity at 0.15p + vat per gram.

MOTS
Although we currently do not offer an in-house MOT service, we can get your vehicle tested via one of or neighboring garages. We only use reputable, local firms whom we have worked closely with for many years. So be rest assured your vehicle will be in safe hands! All you need to do is book your vehicle in with us and we'll handle the rest; including any MOT failure work and organising a re-test.
